We spoke to patients and staff at Park Royal Medical Practice to understand experiences of primary care and make suggestions for improvement.
Healthwatch Brent carried out an Enter & View visit to Park Royal Medical Practice in Brent on 29th January 2026. The visit was intended to allow Healthwatch Brent’s Enter and View team to follow up on a previous public engagement project and explore how the practice manages complaints and social prescribing.

The visit was intended to allow Healthwatch Brent’s Enter and View team to follow up on a previous public engagement project and explore how the practice manages complaints and social prescribing.
Some of the positive areas highlighted included:
- Exceptional staff attitude: Patients reported that 100% of staff were polite and approachable, with a "community hub" philosophy that avoids saying "no."
- Short waiting times: Most patients surveyed were seen within 15 minutes of their scheduled appointment time.
- High satisfaction with appointments: The majority of patients found accessing appointments easy and were pleased with the flexibility of the doctors.
- Effective social prescribing: The practice works closely with local partners like Brent Mencap to provide holistic, "human-to-human" support that reduces patient stress.
The report also outlines our recommendations and next steps, including the provision of more up-to-date multilingual leaflets to support the borough's diverse community.
