Published this week, Our Way Forward sets out LNWH's strategy for the next five years. It sets out four key objectives, addressing the issues that matter to patients and staff:

  • To provide high-quality, timely and equitable care in a sustainable way.
  • To be a high-quality employer where all our people feel they belong and are empowered to provide excellent services and grow their careers.
  • To base their care on high-quality, responsive, and seamless non-clinical and administrative services.
  • To build high-quality, trusted ways of working with local people and partners so that together we can improve the health of our communities.

Healthwatch Brent has contributed to the development of the strategy, attending stakeholder engagement events, giving feedback about the priorities discussed and highlighting the importance of strong engagement with the local community. We're pleased to see that the strategy has been produced in a range of languages and formats, and addresses many of the key challenges that patients have raised with us.

What do you think of the new strategy? We would love to hear your comments, and any other feedback you have about local hospital services.
