Brent Council launches new Disability Forum

Discussing topics that matter to disabled people in Brent.

The launch of Brent's new Disability Forum is a great opportunity for local disabled people to speak up about the issues that matter.

Their first meeting will take place on 27 April at Brent Civic Centre. You can register for a spot here.

The forum will cover a wide range of topics including transport for disabled people, where to locate activities and what benefits or schemes are available to disabled people.

There will be a BSL interpreter and regular comfort breaks to accommodate the needs of the participants.

Healthwatch Brent shared feedback as part of the Disability Forum Consultation, and we are very pleased to see the Council making a commitment to involving more disabled people in their work.
